Water: Everyone should have water at every practice!!! I have waterbottles if people need them. It is not healthy to be running around without being hydrated especially in the summer heat!!

 

 

 

 

Road to the Right Track Granola Mix

 

 

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats

  • ½ cup quinoa (uncooked)

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 Tbs melted coconut oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ Tbs ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds (or cashews, almonds, walnuts, pecans)

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1 cup shaved coconut (or 2/3 cup grated coconut)

  • 6 oz dried cranberries (or fruit of your choice)

  • 6 oz dried apricots (or fruit of your choice)

 

 

***Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

Stir together in a large bowl: oats, quinoa, nuts/seeds, honey, coconut oil, salt, and cinnamon until well mixed

Spread the mixture on two foil-lined baking sheets

Baked for 20 minutes, stirring mixture at 10 minutes

Sprinkle coconut over granola with 3-4 minutes remaining cook time

Once removed from oven, add dried fruit and stir to combine

 

Enjoy with Greek yogurt as a healthy breakfast or snack option!
