Scholarship Application
The board of RRT is overjoyed to be able to offer four, $2500 scholarships to hard working members of our program. Any athlete moving onto post-secondary education is eligible. For further information, see below.

Scholarship Application Guidelines and Eligibility Requirements

Active Membership:
-
You must be a current, active member of the Road to the Right Track (RRT) program. Active membership is defined by regular attendance at RRT sessions and/or involvement in a school athletic team.

Verification: Provide a letter from your coach describing your involvement in the school athletic team.

Meeting Attendance: Attend at least 50% of the monthly RRT meetings, equivalent to at least 5 meetings.

Been a member of RRT for at least the past year

Educational Status:

You must be a current high school student.

For high school students (Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior): If awarded the scholarship, the funds will be held in a trust account until you are admitted into a college program or Trade Union Program (including Associates and Bachelors programs as well as a trade union program).

Essay Submission:

Write an essay describing your experience with the Road to the Right Track program.

Essay Length: Minimum of 500 words, maximum of 1500 words.

Evaluation: Essays will be reviewed by the board of directors.

Award Announcement: The scholarship will be awarded at the December meeting.

Ensure your attendance at the RRT meetings is documented and meets the requirement of at least 50% attendance.

Write a detailed essay (500-1500 words) about your experiences with the RRT program.

Discuss how the program has impacted your life, your growth, and your future aspirations.

Submission:

Compile your verification letter, attendance record, and essay.

Submit these documents to the scholarship committee by the designated deadline (to be confirmed).​​
